Minister of Education
Mr. Slavoljub Stijepovic with his associates, met today Prof. Dr Hideki Imai
from the Chuo University from Tokyo, Japan, who is member of Scientific Council
of Japan and the Chairman of CRYPTREC (The Government of Japan’s Research and
Assessment Committee for Cryptography).
Professor Imai is
making an official visit to Montenegro, in order to exchange the Japanese
experience with Montenegrin experts on issues of security on the internet in
education and research. What's more, the aim of his visit is to examine
possibilities for cooperation between the Montenegrin and Japanese institutions
in the information security field.
Minister Stijepovic has
emphasized the importance and the need for capacity building in the Montenegrin
education institutions in the field of internet security.
Taking into
consideration that there is commitment present with Montenegrin experts for
following global developments in this area, minister Stijepovic emphasized that
the Ministry will carry out all necessary activities, in order to ensure
preconditions for improving the cyber space security.
Minister Stijepovic and
his guest have agreed to sign an Agreement on understanding, allowing
Montenegrin students, professors and researchers professional development at
the Chao University in Tokyo.
