Twelve-member delegation from Tajikistan is paying visit to Montenegro

A twelve-member delegation from Tajikistan, together with the European Training Foundation’s (ETF) representatives, is paying visit to Montenegro, in the period 1 - 5 October 2013.

The aim of their visit is getting to know the education system and reform processes in Montenegro putting accent on quality assurance in vocational education. This visit is organized on the ETF’s initiative, putting Montenegro as an example of good practice for countries which are in the process of reforming their education systems. The delegation consists of representatives from the ministries of education and labour of Tajikistan, centres for adult training and schools’ representatives.

On their first day of visit in Montenegro, Tajikistan’s delegation had opportunity to visit the Ministry of Education, Centre for Vocational Education, Bureau for Education and the Examination Centre, as well as the organizer of adult education “Double L” and the Employment Alliance, who presented their programs.

In order to even better present the whole system, the VET Centre and Ministry of Education organized visits for guests to secondary vocational schools in Podgorica, Bar, and Kotor, as well as visits to social partners and local authorities, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Bureau for Employment, and MONSTAT. Besides professional, this visit has also a cultural side, i.e. covering visits to monuments and cultural heritage in Bar, Kotor and Cetinje.
